Live and work in Paris.
His projects revolve around the performative aspect of photography,both in its production, distribution, and consumption. Combining scientific protocol with absurd experimentation, Lignier draws inspiration from the Fluxus movement and the post-digital society. The images, actions, installations, videos or performances he creates prompt the viewers to contemplate and critic not only the images but also our society as a producer and consumer of images.
